Why We Do It

ATHLIVO was built after observing a consistent gap in the football industry. While clubs and organizations continue to modernize, agency operations remain largely unstructured.

By working closely with agents and understanding their day to day challenges, the idea for ATHLIVO emerged.

“Our why is simple. Better organization leads to better decisions, and better decisions help build longer careers for players.”

How We Do It

  • Industry specific, built for football agencies. A platform designed to reflect how agents actually work.
  • User friendly. Clean design, simple to use.
  • Mobile friendly. Agents are always on the go (airports, matches) and need a platform that works from their phone.
  • Continuous improvement. While you’re working hard during transfer windows, we’re gathering feedback and shipping features that improve your experience.

Player Lists & Share Links

Sending a shortlist has always meant a PDF, a WhatsApp message, or a string of individual player links, and once it’s sent, you have no idea what happens to it. ATHLIVO changes that. Build a list once, then share it as a single link. No login required on their side, nothing to attach, and no CRM access for whoever receives it.

ATHLIVO Player Lists and Share Links.

One list can go to three kinds of audiences:

  • A club. Send a shortlist for an open request. Each club gets its own link, so you can see exactly which one actually opened it and which is still sitting in an inbox.
  • A partner agency. Co-representing a player or working a deal together? Share your book directly with another agency, with no export and no access to your CRM.
  • The world. Turn your full client roster into a public page and drop it in a bio, a website footer, or a post.

Analytics on every link. Every list tracks views, visitors, and which specific players got the most attention. You get an alert the first time a club opens your list, and from there you can see it ranked player by player, per recipient. A PDF goes quiet. A link reports back.

Shadow squad view. See the shape of a list the way a sporting director would. Every player sits at their position, depth stacks up by position, and gaps stay visible. Your own ranking decides which player leads each position.

This is how we want player representation to look going forward: professional, dynamic, and interactive. Not a PDF that goes into a folder and is never opened again.

Key Takeaways

  • Player lists can be shared with clubs, partner agencies or the public without giving recipients CRM access.
  • Link analytics show which recipients opened a list and which players attracted attention.
  • ATHLIVO supports contract tracking and agency administration while keeping relationships central to representation.

We sat down with ATHLIVO CEO William Bartucci to talk about the new feature, and where he thinks the industry is headed.

Our Exclusive Interview with William Bartucci

Why are you excited about Player Lists & Share Links?

Honestly, this is one of my favorite things we’ve shipped. I kept hearing the same story from agents: they’d send a PDF to a club and then just… wait. No idea if anyone opened it, no idea which player caught their eye, nothing. You’re representing real careers and you’re stuck guessing. Now you send one link and you actually know what happened after you hit send. That feedback loop didn’t exist before, and it changes how you follow up.

Why are football agents still operating on spreadsheets?

Because nothing better existed. That’s really it. Clubs have modernized a lot over the last decade, recruitment departments, data teams, proper software. Agencies didn’t get that same upgrade. So people default to what’s on their laptop already, a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp thread, a notes app.

It works until it doesn’t, and it usually breaks at the worst possible time, mid-window, when three deals are moving at once and nobody remembers who followed up with who. We built ATHLIVO because that gap was real and nobody was closing it for agents specifically.

How do you see technology reshaping football representation?

Carefully, and on purpose. I don’t think technology should touch the relationship side of this business. Football is still built on trust between an agent, a player, and a club, and that’s not something software replaces.

“Technology should support relationships, not replace them.”

“Technology should support relationships, not replace them.”

What it can do is take the weight off everything around that relationship, the follow-ups, the tracking, the “did anyone get back to us on this,” so an agent’s time actually goes toward the parts of the job that matter. Less admin, more time building the relationships that get deals done.

FAQ

We already use spreadsheets and WhatsApp, why would we switch?

Spreadsheets don’t alert you when a contract is expiring, can’t match incoming club requests to your players automatically, and fall apart the moment two agents are updating the same file. ATHLIVO replaces that patchwork with one live system your whole team works from, so nothing falls through the cracks during a transfer window.

How does ATHLIVO help us avoid missing contract renewals?

You set how many days in advance you want to be alerted, and ATHLIVO automatically flags any player whose contract is approaching that window. The contract timeline view gives your whole team visibility on which clients need attention, not just the agent who signed them.

Is our data kept private from other agencies?

Completely. Your agency’s data is fully isolated, no other agency can see your players, contacts, or deals.
